Vision is given by God and it is transferred via methods that God chooses to use. Imagination, daydreams, angelic visitations, night dreams, God-to-man encounters and through thoughts deposited in one’s heart.
You know a vision is from God because it edifies your spirit, it challenges your level of faith and it is completely rooted in love.
Leaders in all spheres need a vision from God because they are responsible for God’s people.
Why do leaders need a vision from God?
1. A vision from God has consistent instructions and direction.
2. A vision from God arouses the faith and trust of the leader in God.
3. A vision from God demands conviction and character.
4. A vision from God is timed by God when to finally manifest.
5. A vision from God complements and adapts to the culture of God’s kingdom.
The provision of the vision is within the Giver of the vision, everything on earth is God’s so fear no men and believe God without doubt.
God has equipped you and other enablers to tend and to keep the vi-sion.
Leaders can acquire visions from God if only they can ask and submit to our Father. Without faith, leaders will not experience the rest that comes with trusting God. Leaders will likely be intimidated by the vision if they don’t know God. Leaders will become weary from their own efforts in trying to carry out the vision given by God without God.
A vision is purposeful. A vision presents the end in the beginning. A vision is seasoned. A vision is edified by good counsel. A vision will in-trigue virtue. A vision will demand love to be its anchor.
When leaders make the vision given by God plain for all to see, the vision will become strong in the eyes and hearts of the leader and everybody entrusted to the leader. Therefore the ultimate desire will be for the manifestation of the vision.
THE VISION-CARRIER AND VISION-BEARER
One of the greatest setbacks to the fulfillment of a God-given and God-inspired visions is the enabled failure not to capture it.
Why is it important to write a God-given vision down?
1. To validate its manifestation.
2. To remind you of what God said would happen.
3. Even when you die prematurely; the vision will still stand.
4. To serve as a resource of direction to them who are entrusted to run with it.
5. To edify one’s faith and trust in the Almighty.
6. The vision in plain writing is a prophecy.
7. To bring comfort and closure
The vision-bearer is not necessarily the vision-carrier. The vision-bearer is instructed to write it down, make it plain on tablets understandably. This means that the vision bearer possess the ability to inscribe and is fa-miliar with the language of the people, he/she is equipped for this work.
The vision-carrier is given divine sight.
Everybody will see the vision but may not have the divine and entrusted sight of the carrier who has the speed and enthusiasm to run with the vision.
Though the vision given might seems too impossible, unattainable, unrealistic and too far-fetched. Add the virtue of patience to your faith for it is for an appointed time.
The vision-bearer is promised to see the manifestation of the vision like Moses who saw the land God promised to His people but didn’t enter it.
