Hannah was a beautiful woman but she had pride so much that God caused her to be barren . All this was so that He might humble her in His own sight . After years of HUMBLY seeking God's intervention to bear a son , God Almighty heard her and granted her a son on the condition that the boy is to be dedicated to the Lord for all his life -Samuel . That was the beginning of Hannah's fertility which we see more children after .
Funny how you can be that beautiful,that handsome, that rich and intelligent yet have a that one aspect of your life that gets you on your knees. No amount of friends ,lovers , drugs and alcohol can fill that void of dissatisfication.
Is it not amazing that your enemies are flourishing in what you lack and desperately need ? So is the opposite true for your enemies.
Yet in all this dilemma, there is a great solution . That void in your life cannot be filled until you get off that high horse of yours and seek the Lord with all your heart.
You want that void to be filled up so that you can prove a point or even showoff . If you reasons are all about self then you have a lot to deal with.
God Almighty requires you to love your enemies unconditionally so . Remember you can fake nothing before the Almighty. He knows your heart. That other face , that stinking attitude you have been giving others when they turn their back. Baby that spirit of pretence is keeping you from being a position to receive and to give God's best to all men .
Your whole life's assignment is a humble prayer away from beginning. You have been doing all you can without God - The God Almighty who is mindful of all your ways .
It is intriguing how about 50% of divorces and relationship breakups are fueled by pride to settle differences , to accept apologies , to overlook faults and mostly to love unconditionally . You can win an argument and lose a life partner . God can bless us with companions but how we sustain and maintain those relationships is up to us not God.
What if your next level of breakthrough is in helping and endorsing your enemy or someone you don't like ?
Naaham was a captain of the armies of Israel ,had an issue with leprosy that Prophet Elijah was inquired on his behalf . A divine instructions came that he should dip himself 7 times in the Jordan river but Naaham questioned the divine instruction . It wasn't until he listened to the instruction that he got healed .
How often have you despised divine instruction especially from a man or woman below your rank or status quo ?
Your breakthrough is first in humbling yourself before the God Almighty so that you can acknowledge those used of Him and that you may learn to live in love.
God can entrust everything to a humble man. True humility enables divine prosperity but not without a season of worthwhile and perplexing sufferings especially when unconditional love is your motive in all things .
Humility is far more than a gesture or body posture . It is first a worship unto God as result of it being your heart's attitude that streams down from your selective godly meditations .
