Loving others unconditionally

There are people I never got to know because of what I heard, I thought
and began to say about them and there are people who never got to
know me because of what they heard, thought and began to say about
me. Neither of us are innocent. I was challenged as I sat alone in my
room by this thought that I began to introspect myself, to recall the exist-
ence of such people as I prepared to reconcile with them.
Jesus Christ remains my inspiration and teacher to understanding people.

It is through Him that I learnt that whatever treatment you desire from
others – you must be willing to initiate so much that my heart flooded
with the following words re-quoted, “You can give without loving but
you can’t love without giving”. Again Jesus teaches us to love without
limits and without favouritism. And this we will be able to do by
“Loving God with all our hearts and minds”. No man who loved God
treated others badly, no man who loved God embraced division over
unity and no man who loved God kept this love to himself for it is con-
tagious – like a flood that quenches the thirst of the earth so is the man
that devotes himself to God through the Word.

During the days of Christ’s ministry, spectators mocked Jesus for sitting
and eating with sinful men. It was their lack of understanding and
knowledge as why Jesus Christ had come. God didn’t judge and still
doesn’t judge like people. His sight is never short nor is His mercy misdi-
rected.

Until we as the body of Christ root in love; we will win less souls for this
is a matter of inside-out. We can’t bring souls into divisions; we must be
united in our minds and in our hearts regardless of what our church
names or who our founders are – Jesus Christ is enough to unite us.
Back to understanding people. We must individually understand that we
are at a position to influence others and that others are in a position to
influence others – we are much related. The message you send out will
bring results in. A message carried with consistent application never miss-
es the spot.

Speaking about Love is information but living in Love is total transfor-
mation. People never change until they decide to – why not be a phe-
nomenal influence to their decision by living in Love?
