I am not a television person for many reasons but recently my eyes caught a new show called "Undercover boss" on BBC . Owners of big corporates go undercover to check out their companies from operational , managerial perspectives and get to understand who works for them. In that exercise, they come back with great feedback that enables their businesses to thrive yet in the process of the investigation, they apply virtues in order to not blow their cover .
In all its great sense . They are using the magic called "Perspective" . It is one thing to see your business,church and relationships from your current position but doesn't mean that's all to it. You know a thing from the eye that you decide to see it from ,from the ears that you decide to hear it from and from the touch you decide to touch it from. Is your perspective biased to only from the position you stand ?
Complains and grievances from everywhere are poorly addressed as to the truth that a solution is not always a conclusion from a 360 degree perspective. There is a cause to a fault . A spirit behind every action.
If there are questions then the possible answers will usher the ultimate truth if you seek it with enough emotional intelligence.
It's easy to say that Shelby Mustang has outdone themselves with the new GT-500 but according to them ; they have only tried to reach a mark set by themselves regardless whether their customers ard happy and whether not is their competitors moved .
You need to accept critique and complements but don't rest if you know that you have the capability to do more and the capacity to handle its execution, successes and failures .
While the corporate bosses are undercover , they make harsh discoveries . Discoveries that answer the many questions of poor sales , incompetent staff and just everything possible that went wrong that affected their companies.
The outcomes
1.They come to a reflection of the threats and opportunities they face . The important part is that they agree to change company policies that hinder the company's functions from achieving the company's objectives.
2.The owners get to asses their own companies from their customer's view point , employee's viewpoint , competitor's viewpoint and from an employer view point that enables them to make rational rather than emotional changes.
So applies to our lives . We need to go undercover timely with emotional intelligence so that we can avoid reacting impulsively instead respond informatively .

To be progressive in all you set out to do , you will need to not to only see things from your perspective but from the perspective of others . You will lose important valuable lessons if you are stagnant and self-centred in your thinking.
There is feedback in every failure ,critique and improvements to be made in every success.
